3-bedroom shared house, Marybank Terrace

We are looking to rent a bedroom in our rental home in a nice, quiet Athelstone neighborhood.

The housemates are a young couple: Neesha (they/she) and Nick (he/they). They both are research scientists at Adelaide University. We have small dogs and are looking for a housemate who also likes dogs but does not have any pets.

We also are vegan and ideally looking for someone who is also a vegan or vegetarian. We enjoy cooking plant-based meals together and would love someone who values shared meals and a collaborative household rather than a "ships passing in the night" dynamic.

Neesha loves distance running and hiking; Nick enjoys running, hiking and calisthenics. We both also enjoy bicycling and walking with our dogs. We're looking for someone who also enjoys spending time outdoors and doing sports.

We keep a very calm, early-to-bed household (quiet by 9pm, up early for work/training). This is not a late-night or party house.

$230/week for both rent and utilities (includes: electricity, gas, heat/AC, internet, water, waste removal). The room is unfurnished.

Available now, though the house will need to be vacated between the dates of 22 December 2026 and 3 January 2027.

Shared spaces include a full bathroom, a kitchen and a living room, as well as outdoor patio and yard spaces, a shed, and an indoor laundry area. We value a tidy, organised home and share responsibility for cleaning common areas.

We have a few house rules:
- quiet hours: 9pm to 7am
- no smoking or illegal drug usage
- no parties/events

Ideal for a postdoc, PhD student, or young professional with a similar weekday schedule.
