Hi I'm John – I’m a mature, broad minded, straight guy with a small friendly dog and I have mainly worked in the University and Public sectors. If you're looking for plenty of space in a quiet, unique, beautiful, clean, secure and relaxed place this might be just right for you. It’s an Oasis in the middle of Glenelg. I would consider a couple but the rent would increase slightly.

THE HOUSE
You are looking at a beautiful, bespoke house built in 1986 and fully furnished. The property has a main house and granny flat which is currently leased. The main house is two storey with bedrooms accessed via a mezzanine and spiral staircase. It was built to provide luxury resort style living with brick, slate and timber highlights. Most of the internal walls are lined with Western Red Cedar panelling and have hand made fittings. The overall feel and decoration of the house is rustic and includes a balcony that overlooks the swimming pool. The swimming pool is contained within an expansive fully enclosed courtyard that includes plants, an entertaining area and BBQ. This area is reminiscent of Moroccan Riad courtyards.
The private space being offered to the housemate is the lockable Master Bedroom along with it’s own Ensuite and walk-in wardrobe plus the use of the main house and its shared areas. The Master Bedroom is spacious (3. 8m x 4. 8m) and also includes 2. 5m of built in wardrobe space plus the walk-in. On the mezzanine there is a small quiet retreat style lounge.
The ground floor level comprises open plan living with kitchen plus pantry, dining room, main lounge, study/office space overlooking the swimming pool, laundry, second toilet/bathroom (used by your Housemate) and rear garden courtyard. Facilities include Miele washing machine, dishwasher, stove and microwave. You’ll have the use of a second modern 470 litre refrigerator. You’ll also have one place reserved in the undercover carport which has a manual 2m high gate.

HOUSE RULES
The house rules are as you’d expect:
* Pay the rent on time by EFT
* You’ll need to clean up after you’ve been cooking and not leave dishes in the sink.
* Put dishes in the dishwasher.
* Buy and use your own food.
* Put out the rubbish ocationally.
* Press the personal mute button between 22:00 – 07:00 💤🛌

If you’re Ok with those rules you’ll fit in really well.
